Terri’s early nursing experience included being a Labor & Delivery nurse, childbirth educator, and doula trainer. In 1995, she started a Lactation Program at a large urban hospital in Tacoma, WA. As the Coordinator of the Lactation Program, she worked with the Mother/Baby Unit, NICU, Birthing Center and eventually opened 3 Outpatient Lactation Centers at sister hospitals.

In 2004-2013 Terri and her husband lived in the San Juan Islands in WA where she worked as a Public Health Nurse, WIC Breastfeeding coordinator & Peer Counselor Lead/ Trainer. She also provided home visits to all newborns & moms coming home from the hospital and continued her work as a Lactation Consultant.

For the last 20 years, as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, Terri has been focusing on the concerns and needs of the breastfeeding mother-baby pair, working to prevent breastfeeding difficulties and to solve those that occur. She is excited to be now living in Bozeman area and to be part of the Bozeman Breastfeeding Community.
