    Stacey Haugland is a Certified Professional Midwife. She has helped welcome hundreds of babies into this world. Stacey began attending birth in 1992 and started her own midwifery practice in 1998. Stacey is also a Certified Lactation Counselor. She works with nursing families throughout their nursing relationship. Stacey is active in promoting healthy, safe, and respectful pregnancy and birth. She is a member of the Montana Midwives Association, Midwives Alliance of North America, the National Association of Certified Professional Midwives, and Citizens for Midwifery. She is on the faculty of several midwifery schools where she serves as a clinical preceptor for aspiring midwives.

    Stacey lives in Bozeman with her young cats, silly chickens, and loving partner. In her spare time, she has been active in human rights and women’s health issues. Stacey is a founding member and past-president of the Gallatin Valley Human Rights Task Force and a former board member of the Montana Human Rights Network. She rather likes to bicycle.
